Great mints!

I've always loved the look of old fashioned lozenge tins and these are beautiful.
I have both tins but the other is my favourite as they have a more mellow flavour. These are quite strong and overpowering.

I wish there were refills as it seems a waste to keep buying the same tins numerous times.

Pharmacology of another age

I dredged up a memory from decades ago of Aqua di Sta Maria Novella and found the site, if not the product online. I bought the tincture with melissa and other herbs for my daughter, who is prostrate with morning sickness. She actually found the smell soothing and the fact that she didn't immediately reject it makes me think it might even have been helpful. The beautiful fragranced ceramic pomegranate will wait as a later gift. The beautifully packaged delivery was remarkably quick.
